Brianna Riedel is a multifaceted artist, veteran, mother, and friend who brings depth and authenticity to every piece she creates. A 2024 graduate of Mount Mercy University with a Fine Arts degree, Brianna specializes in vintage-inspired mixed media collages and sculptural works. Her art combines a love for storytelling with a tactile approach, transforming everyday objects into meaningful compositions that resonate with nostalgia and emotion.
Brianna’s creative journey began as a child, decorating her bedroom walls with an eclectic mix of pictures, magazine clippings, candy wrapper collages, and glowing stars. That same spirit of joyful exploration infuses her work today. As she describes it: “My medium is a bit messy, a little chaotic, but still appealing.” Her mixed media collages and found-item sculptures allow her to craft without limits, using unexpected materials to evoke both beauty and introspection.
Recognized as an Emerging Artist by the Cedar Rapids Gazette in 2024 and featured at the Marion Arts Festival, Brianna’s work is as therapeutic as it is expressive. She reflects on the challenges of her life and channels them into art, creating pieces that not only tell her story but also invite viewers to explore their own.
Brianna is passionate about custom work and special requests, welcoming the opportunity to bring others’ visions to life. Whether through her art or her connection with the community, she hopes to inspire and heal, one creation at a time.
